C.S.D. is an acronym for: Community Skills Development. CSD is a ‘not-for-profit’ national organization founded in August 2008 by concerned South Sudanese intellectuals with the aim of empowering communities in South Sudan to engage in activities for sustainable development. The targeted population is over 360,000 starting with those in Western Equatoria States.
CSD is officially registered by both the Ministry of Justice and Relief and the Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) in the Republic of South Sudan and at State level. CSD seeks to work in collaboration with the State Ministries of Education and Social Services.
CSD has 7 members on the Board of Governors and has 13 full staff members and 17 Volunteers (part time workers).
